In order to produce teachers who make an impact, we offer students an education with an impact. Beyond the core competencies you’ll need to succeed, we instill the compassion and care that distinguishes a great educator from a good one. Marked by unparalleled supervisions in and out of the classroom, Felician has built a reputation as one of the strongest education programs in the state.
At Felician, we also place a major emphasis on student teaching placement-- giving future teachers the classroom experience that helps build confidence and skill. As of last year, our traditional students were placed in 56 schools in 33 districts in five counties. Our cohort students were placed in 56 schools in 39 schools in 11 counties. Our commitment to developing exceptional teachers is one of the reasons why about 95% of our graduates pass the national teaching exam (Praxis). It is also worth mentioning that multiple students from Felician College have won the Governor’s Award for Best Student Teacher — an award given by the state to only 15 students a year. While these accomplishments bring us tremendous pride, our real satisfaction comes from passing on the joy of a rewarding education.
