 Ten Felician College music majors offered vocal and instrumental performances during the Fall Semester’s “Works in Progress” program held in the Castle reception parlor on the Rutherford campus.
Performing students were Lindsey Cabiaza, Stephanie Dorcely, Desiree Garcia, Skye Goins, Edward Gorman, Lauren Hunter, Steven Mal, Teirrah Neal, Nicole Shershen and Xiamara Reyes.
Among the musical pieces presented were Concertino for Tenor Saxophone: excerpt for First Movement, “Humoresque”; Ach, ich fuhls (Mozart: “Die Zauberflote”); and Chopin’s Nocturne Op. 55 No. 1 in f minor.
Dr. Barbara Gordon, Associate Professor and Music coordinator, organized the event, and Mark Yolleck accompanied the student musicians on piano.
The semester’s second WIP Concert is scheduled for December 2 at 1 p.m. in Harmony Hall in Obal Hall on the Lodi campus. The Felician Choir and Jazz Ensemble will perform at the annual Christmas Concert on December 11 at 7 p.m. in Breslin Auditorium on the Lodi campus.
