In celebration of African American History Month, publications and books highlighting the works and lives of prominent African Americans are currently on display at the Felician College library on the Lodi campus.
The Religious Studies Department will present a special lecture entitled “John Cardinal Newman and Conscience” to celebrate the Year of Faith.
Pananya “Penny” Kamkourkong found her way to Felician College in 2009 via her role as president of her high school’s international club. Working to expand her school’s existing program to set up student interviews to attend high schools abroad, Penny worked with an agency to book an expo on her campus to showcase international colleges and universities. It was there that she met an admissions representative from Felician College. Penny had long been interested in studying in America, finding long-term value in receiving an education in an English-speaking country.
The Felician community proudly wore its colors when students, faculty and staff filled the bleachers for the College’s men’s and women’s basketball games on January 29 at the Job Gymnasium on the Rutherford campus.
Felician College’s annual auction and dinner will be held on Friday, March 8, at Il Villaggio in Carlstadt, New Jersey.
